The Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link (TM-CLKL) connects the Northwest New Territories, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge (HZMB), North Lantau and the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Once completed on Dec. 27, 2020, the TM-CLKL offers a more direct route for trucking from Tuen Mun South to the HKIA. Driving distance will be shorten from 36km to 13km saving up to 30 minutes of notoriously congested traffic with lower carbon footprint.
