China is facing its worst COVID crisis since early 2020. The government has announced a complete lockdown of Shenzhen for one week, from March 14–20. Massive population testing is happening for the whole city and workers have started to work from home. Most cannot go to factories or warehouses and no freight is actually coming out due to the lack of labor. Expect delays and disruptions as a result.
The safety of the Dimerco team in these areas is important so our teams will alternate between working from home and from our office. The manpower shortage may result in a slowdown in handling and operations.
