Dimerco Financial Results March, 2025

by | Apr 7, 2025 | Press Release

Dimerco Express Corporation (5609) today announced the consolidated sales revenue of March 2025, reaching NTD 2,555 million, representing a 30.6% increase compared to the same period last year and a 19.5% increase from the previous month. The consolidated sales revenue of March 2025 YTD is NTD 6,992 million, marking an increase of 28.3% compared to the same period last year.

In March, the demand for the airfreight market remained strong in Asia due to the shipment of raw materials and components between China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Additionally, many countries rushed to ship goods before the end of March to avoid U.S. tariffs, leading to an increase in air cargo import/export volumes and higher freight rates. In the ocean freight market, concerns over U.S. tariff policies and potential port duties on vessels made in or operated by China have accelerated supply chain shifts. Southeast Asia has seen growing demand due to increased order transfers and cargo transshipment, which in turn supported freight rates. Dimerco was praised for its ability to understand market changes and offer diverse services to meet customer needs. By leveraging AI and process automation to enhance productivity and improve service efficiency, the company has been able to solve problems and create value for clients even in a disrupted market, contributing to a notable increase in revenue.

Entering April, the international logistics industry faces numerous challenges, including a global economic slowdown, disruptions in freight shipping, and rising operational costs due to the upcoming U.S. tariff policies. The U.S. has imposed substantial tariffs on goods from various countries, leading to retaliatory measures from China, the EU, India, and others. This is expected to result in reduced import and export volumes to and from the U.S. Yet, the Asia Pacific market remains strong in terms of regional transportation. Dimerco, with clear market positioning by focusing on differentiation and strategic localization, has built physical networks in over 150 key niche markets. Its long-established networks in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Australia, will continue to enhance its competitive edge, increasing import, export, and transshipment volumes within the region. Meanwhile, via the Cloud Networking SCM Platform of Dimerco Value Plus System® and Cyber Security Certification, Dimerco manages to enhance supply chain value, providing customers with seamless, integrated international logistics services that are accessible and efficient. In addition, through digital marketing, Dimerco continues to strengthen its value-added supply chain management services and expand its business capabilities. Despite the challenges posed by U.S. tariff policies, geopolitical tensions, and the Red Sea crisis, Dimerco remains confident that effective teamwork within the corporate will overcome the difficult situation to achieve good operational performance.
