One Shanghai Pudong (PVG) terminal PACTL3 staff member was confirmed with Covid-19 on 24th Jan.
There is no impact on PVG export operation for now.
There are some impacts on import terminal operations PACTL3, as detailed below.
- Suspension of operations at the PACTL 3 terminal documentation window. The normal handover of our goods was affected and the unpacking of goods was delayed by one day.
- Temporary transfer of goods to PACTL1. Shipments arrived at PACTL 3 were transferred to another terminal for processing, resulting in delays due to reconfiguration of operations.
- Staff at the PACTL 3 documentation window were segregated, creating a shortage of manpower and slowing down operations.
Most Asian carriers Dimerco uses operates at EAL terminal that is currently not affected. #China #zerocovid policy may affect operations further at PVG airport in the coming days. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
